What a Grand Opening we had for the 5th Annual Noah’s ARC Design Contest! This week our 3 participating family stores are on display demonstrating to the public how Salvation Army Family Store items can make beautiful home decor! All items are in a silent auction! Come by and place a bid on something beautiful.

Come take a look at the Industrial Studio theme designed by Westwood College at the Orange Family Store! This room will be on display through Saturday, April 19th, 2014. This gorgeous space features a creative lighting hand made by Nick Virus, a decorative wall-mounted bicycle, and converted furniture and fixtures that would be a great piece for your room! There is also a big screen television, waiting for the winning bidder to take it home and help support the Adult Rehabilitation Center in Anaheim.

You Are Invited Tomorrow to the 5th Annual Noahs ARC Interior Design Contest with The Salvation Army

You’re invited!

2014 looks to be the most promising in the 5 year partnership with ASID students with The Salvation Army ARC in Anaheim.

Orange County Interior Design Students have been visiting the warehouse over the last two weeks selecting donated items and materials to create 12 x 12 vignettes in three Orange County Salvation Army Family Stores.
Grand Opening is Friday 4/12/14 and the silent auction will happen for a week through April 19th! Our Salvation Army Fountain Valley [16119 Brookhurst St.], Huntington Beach [17362 Beach Blvd.], and Orange [180 S. Tustin Blvd.] Family stores will be host to local creative student designers showcasing the use of donated materials into beautiful living spaces!
We will be touring with judges each store with the students demonstrating to the public how Salvation Army Family Store items can make beautiful home decor!

Student Design Challenge Installations Start Monday at Orange, Fountain Valley, and Huntington Beach Salvation Army Stores

Noah’s ARC Interior Design Challenge 2014 is underway!

2014 looks to be the most promising in the 5 year tradition of pairing local ASID students with The Salvation Army ARC in Anaheim. Students have been visiting the warehouse over the last two weeks selecting donated items and materials to create 12 x 12 vignettes in three Orange County Salvation Army Family Stores.

The installations start on Monday, April 7th! Our Salvation Army Fountain Valley [16119 Brookhurst St.], Huntington Beach [17362 Beach Blvd.], and Orange [180 S. Tustin Blvd.] Family stores will be host to local creative student designers showcasing the use of donated materials into beautiful living spaces!

Come see our students in stores, and be sure to attend our Grand Opening on Saturday, April 12th! All items will be silent auctioned!

Donations from The Salvation Army will be transformed into gorgeous living spaces while benefitting the community at large, through the fifth annual Noah’s ARC Interior Design Challenge.

On Saturday, April 12th, the finished rooms will be unveiled at each store. The student designers will present their rooms, answer questions about their decorating style, and share tips with the public. R2 Visual Studios has volunteered to photograph the event.

The participating Salvation Army Family Stores for Noah’s ARC are Fountain Valley [16119 Brookhurst St.], Huntington Beach [17362 Beach Blvd.], and Orange [180 S. Tustin Blvd.]. Installation of designs will take place April 7th through the 11th.

ASID student members from threelocal interior design colleges have taken on the challenge of designing 12’ X 12’ vignette rooms at three Salvation Army Family Stores in Orange County using only donated items from The Salvation Army and paint from Sherwin Williams. Student teams represent Westwood College, Art Institute, and Interior Designers Institute.
